I never stopped travelling. I was a traveller since childhood. I enjoyed our trips with my family and then alone. I grew up in Soviet Union which connected so many different countries and cultures under one big umbrella of a country. One lifetime is not enough to cover that vast and exciting country.
Seeing new places shifts the perspective and opens new horizons for me. I had a friend Victoria, who had an even bigger travel bug. I was inspired by her. Among her other talents she was a ballroom dancer and travelled the world to competitions. She had diverse interests and went to many many countries, transcending the question of travel expenses and visas. I had to learn that from her.
